MORE THAN A MAP. That is the idea we want to convey with this collection that, beyond being a representation of the world, allows you to decorate any personal space and choose how you want to see the Earth.
Throughout history one of the main geographical problems has been to represent the terrestrial sphere in a two-dimensional plane pursuing as little distortion as possible. That is why, for more than five centuries, numerous scientists have proposed more than 400 projections to try to achieve it.
That one we present on this map, although it was named in honor of the French cartographer Rigobert Bonne (18th century), we must point out that this projection was already used previously, although with slight differences, among others, by Sylvano in 1511.
