MORE THAN A MAP. That is the idea we want to convey with this collection that, beyond being a representation of the world, allows you to decorate any personal space and choose how you want to see the Earth.
Throughout history one of the main geographical problems has been to represent the terrestrial sphere in a two-dimensional plane pursuing as little distortion as possible. That is why, for more than five centuries, numerous scientists have proposed more than 400 projections to try to achieve it.
Created in 1923 by the geographer John Paul Goode, the projection of this map arose from the belief on the part of the author of the need to improve Mercator’s. In this way, the previous Mollweide projection was modified to end with this curious projection, also known as interrupted.
Enjoy it!! and discover the rest of our projections
