MORE THAN A MAP. That is the idea we want to convey with this collection that, beyond being a representation of the world, allows you to decorate any personal space and choose how you want to see the Earth.
Throughout history one of the main geographical problems has been to represent the terrestrial sphere in a two-dimensional plane pursuing as little distortion as possible. That is why, for more than five centuries, numerous scientists have proposed more than 400 projections to try to achieve it.
Also known as Dimaxyon map, the map we present corresponds to the definitive version of Buckminster Fuller, patented in 1954. In it, the Earth is represented on a polyhedron that, being flattened on a two-dimensional map, maintains the characteristic of not losing the proportion.
